Evanston's Highest-Rated Siding Contractors on Google
Evanston's siding contractors on this page come from a Google Maps search instead of a license file, since this site doesn't carry enough Evanston license records yet. 11 businesses matched that search near Evanston; the 10 shown ranked highest once review count was weighted against the star rating. 76,340 residents live in Evanston, and this list reflects what the public has rated on Google, not a license filing.

Housing in Evanston
Renters are the minority in Evanston: 56% of occupied homes belong to the people living in them, not a landlord.
That matters in Evanston specifically, since an owner decides on their own exterior, while a rental often waits on a property manager's schedule.
76% of Evanston's houses were framed before 1980, which is where a lot of this directory's repeat business comes from.
10 top-rated siding contractors in and near Evanston
Each business's Google star rating gets discounted or boosted here by its own review count, so five stars from a couple of reviewers loses out to a 4.8 built on hundreds. That math tells you nothing about a license, so ask to see a contractor's license or registration yourself before you sign.

Questions to ask before you sign
- What license number and class do you hold for siding work here, and can I verify it with the state before we sign anything?
- Is a permit required for this scope of work, and who is responsible for pulling it?
- Will you remove and haul away the old siding, and is that priced as a separate line item?
- What exactly does the written estimate include: house wrap, flashing, trim, and site cleanup?
- What does the manufacturer's material warranty cover, separate from your warranty on the installation itself?
- How much is the deposit, and what triggers each remaining payment?
- Will the crew on my house be your own employees or a subcontractor?
- What happens if you find rot or damage once the old siding comes off?
